The hotel rooms are extremely nice. The bed is most comfortable and the linens are soft and all feel new. The furniture and carpet throughout the hotel and casino is new and pleasing.
If you like to gamble but don't like the loud noises and drunken crowds of Vegas, Reno is your town. The vast majority of tourist are 60 and over. I have seen young families too. This hotel has a nice arcade for kids and two pools, indoor and out.
Several eating options on the property, which is very nice. Mel's dinner is so fun, with a Jukebox at every booth. Food was delicious. I had a Cobb salad that was one of the best I've ever had.

Boomtown has done a good job of upgrading their dinning experience. The New Buffet is very nice with great Lobster. Got to go to the steakhouse for a good meal. Ask for Jack the waiter he adds another element to the dinning experience.

A great stay, like that this casino hotel was taken over by Best Western, the Best Western standards are high and I enjoyed staying at this property very much, food was good, people were nice and the room and bed were very comfortable. Girl at the front counter also had a great personality, had me smiling before I even had checked in!

Perfect room, service, tasty breakfast, and clean bathroom, all personal friendly and hospitality. We travelled with my friends, visited restorante Stakehouse, very tasty lobster and deserts, sorbet from chef was charming

Check in was very slow, it took 30 minutes to check in. Hotel and valet was under staffed I could see my vehicle and it took 20+ minutes to get vehicle. We attend a Collin Raye concert and that was excellent. I played several table games and dealers were very friendly and professional.
