“A Serene Getaway in Henniker, NH”
Reviewed 8 September 2018 for a stay in August 2018

We were impressed upon arrival, the moment we met the owners, Dave and Debbie A.,we sensed we had made a great choice for our month-long vacation in NH! They are natural-born hosts, who always bring the right touch in all they do. We stayed in cottage 7 and loved it - comfortable, clean, homey, just right for a couple of tourists. Tall Pines is conveniently located near US 202, with easy access to I-89 and I-93. For anyone interested in exploring the sights throughout NH this is an exceptional location. The site is well-maintained, as your hosts are bustling about throughout the day ensuring the grounds look their best and everything is in top working order. As busy as they are they always ensure they make the time to chat with their guests and get to know them on a friendly, personal level. We found Tall Pines to be very peaceful, quiet, and with a relaxed atmosphere, just what we were looking for! One can take advantage of the boating equipment on Keyser Pond, or just wile away an afternoon on the beach doing nothing more than relaxing or reading a book. Our month flew by much too quickly, but we couldn't have asked for anything more - it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and we look forward to returning next year! Debbie & Dave - thanks for a great experience at Tall Pines!

“Remodelled but rustic”

A series of white and green cottages surround the beach. The one bedroom cottage I rented was spotless with a wonderful screened porch overlooking the water. The owners are hospitable and congenial. They want their guests to enjoy everything the site offers. Best of all, I could bring my dog for a nominal cost.

“Clean, quiet, great value in a nice pond-front setting”
Reviewed 21 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Took my 13-year-old son for a 2-night getaway to Tall Pines to do some fishing and off-road trail bike riding in the area. Super-friendly owners; property is basic but well-kept. Loved the free-range chickens! Cottages are a bit dated, but for the money they are clean and a great value and sit right on the waterfront of Keyser Pond. We went mid-week so had the place almost to ourselves which made our stay nice and quiet, aside from the distant sound of traffic from the secondary highway located across the pond. But it wasn't intrusive. Loved the screened-in porch overlooking the pond. Have to bring your own towels and bed linens but again for the price, this was fine with me. Free use of canoes/paddle boats (good fishing); a sandy beach for swimming and there's a fire pit; also a nice little rec room with a ping pong table, lots of used books, toys and board games; can picture it being a great nighttime hangout for kids. I went into it not expecting much and I came out pleasantly surprised. If you're not expecting 3, 4 or 5 star accommodations, Tall Pines is a good value for the money.

Like the title says, each cottage is adorable, furnished two bedrooms, clean and guests are truly paid attention to by the owners Debbie and David. Great couple, very devoted to customer satisfaction - fun for families, water access with canoes, paddle boats, floats and more. The evening campfire on their private beach front is the highlight.
