We had not been here in some time, but found it enjoyable.
It is tucked away in a former mall just off US Route 1.
They have a small outside patio, and have opened a new side, which includes a small stage for live performances. There was a musician the evening we were there.
The inside is not fancy, but adequate and clean.
One orders the food at the counter and it is delivered to the table.
We were there on a Saturday evening and the food was delivered quickly.
It was good Greek food for our palates. It was warm and not overcooked.
We had the Spanakopta and Mossaka dinners. Both came with Pita bread. There was a coice of 2 sides: Greek salad, Greek style beans, rice pilaf, and roasted Greek potatoes. The Greek salad was generous, and the roasted Greek potatoes were tasty. The Spanakopta and Mossaka were both tasty.

Cafe Nostimo is one of our favorite restaurants in Portsmouth, serving traditional Greek cuisine in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. My favorite entree is the lamb shank dinner which comes with two big, tender shanks paired with two of several side choices - I usually go for the rice pilaf and Greek salad. My wife alternates between the moussaka and pastichio dinners, both delicious. The Cafe has plenty of parking and, with recent expansion, seats without a wait. Dean, the owner, often circulates through the Cafe, greeting customers and soliciting feedback on the food served - this speaks volumes to me about his interest in providing the best dining experience possible. Highly recommended!

We have been searching for a great Greek salad in NH and hoped that this would be great.

There are no hosts or signs when entering so it's not clear how to order food or where to eat it. Basically the place is weird dairy queen that serves baklava and Greek dinners. Very odd set up and atmosphere.

The eat in dining area is neat clean and the bathrooms good but the feeling is an odd combination of isolation and public park.

The Greek salad wasn't very good. If we go back ever it will be for take out.
