A spontaneous decision to stay while in route home turned in to a delightful respite . Close to beach with towels and beach chairs and umbrella provided after a tasty breakfast. Classic large shore home ambiance with gracious hosts. Convenient to all amenitues in the area. Looking forward to a future stay..
I don't often stay in B&Bs for a number of reasons. But I was attending a wedding at the Yacht Club and this seemed like the perfect place. It's a really charming property, with lovely owners. I was so pleased to sit on the porch and look at the water and read a book. There was lots of coffee, which I really appreciated. I had some leftover food I wanted to snack on later, and having a fridge for guests is very convenient. Muffins and eggs for breakfast were perfect in the nice dining room on the ground floor. Ii will certainly stay there again for the next wedding!
The Bay Head Sands B&B is a little gem. The rooms are charming, the hosts are gracious, the views are decent, the food is delicious. What more could you ask for in a B&B? The owners really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.
From the small refrigerator where drinks are available as well as space for storing late night snacks, to comfortable beds and all the amenities you'd find in major hotels (toiletries, hair dryers, etc.) ... you won't want to leave.
While I was there in early March, Mary still made sure I knew all the best places to get in my 10,000 steps!
