This was a delightful interlude on a cold rainy night in November. We were welcomed cordially and escorted to a corner along the back wall. The decor was elegant and the white tablecloths glistened. We ordered from the regular menu, but there were many specials also available. Our calamari appetizer was quite generous, and cooked to perfection.I liked the fact that it was accompanied by two bowls of tomato sauce, not one to share. The entrees arrived steaming hot, and my shrimp francaise overflowed on the bed of linguine. The shrimp were butterflied beautifully and tender to the touch. My companion ordered the stuffed shrimp with potato and fresh vegetables. Also quite good, but i would have expected another shrimp on the plate. We completed our meal with the delectable cream puffs smothered in blankets of chocolate. Wonderful!. The meal was enhanced by a truly amazing waiter who anticipated our every need, and was constantly attentive and helpful. I would have given a total 5 score, but i had a few problems with the lack of lemons for all our fish, and the oversized loaf of bread in the basket. The bread was tasty and warm, but difficult to cut and butter due to its huge width. The large room is a trifle noisy , even on a weekday night, but the delicious food and terrific service will make me a consistant visitor.
