Came to the Manasquan beach for the first time since Hurricane Sandy and it was a beautiful day. I imagine the Hurricane wiped out the original GeeGee's, but the new elevated one with a large indoor seating area, huge ordering system and menu was impressive.

Ordered my usual foot long hotdog and it was as delicious as I remembered from being a season pass holder for 15 years. Husband had 2 slices of their pizza and he enjoyed them. Prices are up from 3 yrs ago but it's still a very convenient place to eat at the beach, steps from the sand.

Manasquan beach fees really rose to $9.00 a day M-S, weekly is $40, season is $80.

Went for some ice cream, it was ok. Definitely one of those places that benefits from being the only place within walking distance of the beach.

The French fries are great boardwalk fries. Had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza. Not bad, but could be a bit hotter. Soft Pretzel was good.

Gee Gee's has been around forever. It does have good food. The pizza is very good and they have other selections. One slice of pizza is like two slices at most places. Before Sandy, the eating area was pretty much all outside. But they were wiped out completely by Sandy and had to rebuild. The new place looks very nice and is totally indoor with a outside service stand a couple of doors down. All that being said, Gee Gee's is way over priced, even for a boardwalk location. I have gone there over the years, but every time I
do I have sticker shock.

I loved the New York Style pizza that has been served at Gee Gees for years. It's not a Jersey Shore experience without some pizza from this place.
