Had a great breakfast here. Oatmeal, fruit, coffee and bacon - what more could one want? Fabulous service and price was right - we will be back!

My boyfriend and I have eaten here several times for breakfast, which is always outstanding. Notable mentions including: the Jill special, homemade chicken apple sausage and homemade pork sausage....all so, so, so good! If you go in warmer weather, it's always nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the cute little town of Monmouth Beach. Tonight for the first time, we tried the Friday night prefixe dinner. To say it was the best meal we have had out in a very, very long time would be an understatement. And, we eat out often...being foodies and loving to check out new places in addition to our favorite frequented spots. The dinner was out of this world. For $30 you're able to choose from a soup or salad, 2 entrees, and 2 different desserts. If you sign up for their email, you receive one each week or check their facebook page by Wednesday letting you know the menu for Friday. Tonight, we each started with the carrot ginger soup that came with a homemade olive bread. Oh my god. We were in heaven, instantly. I could have easily eaten another bowl of soup because it was that good, along with 10 rolls. But, that would have spoiled my appetite for the next amazing course....the ginger crusted salmon. It came with 4 vegetable dumplings that were outrageous and stir fry veggies. My boyfriend had the bacon wrapped filet mignon with sundries tomato goat cheese mashed potatoes and roasted fall veggies. When they say "melts in your mouth", this meat truly did. He rarely orders steak out, as they never properly prepare it rare as he likes it. But, here, I'm pretty sure I saw his eyes roll in delight and he repeated several times how it was the best meal he's had in a while. Now, for dessert...I had blackout cake..one of my very favorites. Perfectly light and chocolatey. My boyfriend had the eggnog cheesecake..WOW. Dead on for the flavor of eggnog and really just so delicious. We have never been disappointed coming to kitchen witch for breakfast but tonight blew us away!!! The service was second to none! Our waiter's personality and humor made it a really enjoyable experience. Nanci came out for a while and spoke with us too. We were glad to be able to tell her how much we enjoy her food!!! Definitely give this place a shot! You will not be disappointed and most certainly be remembering your delicious meal - breakfast lunch or dinner for a long time...leaving you wanting to return. Also, do yourself a favor and get the peanut butter and jelly oatmeal bar as a treat!!!! SO GOOD!-Dana

This restaurant is a gem we've been for breakfast and lunch a number of times and it never failed to impress. They serve limited menu Friday dinner, reservation only so we tried it. Again, we were not disapponted. The price was right $30 per and our choices we're salmon or filet mignon. We had one of each, both being equally good. Great salad and when I finished mine first the waiter asked if I would like more. Unheard of. Great service, great food, great place, and when they found out it was my partners birthday they have us a repeat of our desserts to take home to celebrate. Again, unheard of. If you can go for any meal they serve you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.
