Home away from home! Rich and his family have created a clean, quiet and comfy oasis in Pt. Pleasant Beach! The property is immaculate- cut grass, no garbage. The rooms are clean. Our room had new furniture-lots of storage space. Lovely pool! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Short walk to beach and restaurants. If you are looking for a safe, clean and quiet place to stay in Point Beach, this is your place!
I am very disappointed in the booking process experience I had. I called multiple times during office hours and reached a message that said I couldn’t leave a message. I finally got in touch and the woman on the phone was extremely rude. I asked for room availability for August and she told me that the rest of my group ( my family) would have to each individually call to ask for room availability as she wouldn’t tell me the exact amount of rooms she had left. I started to say that this would be a problem because I didn’t want to book knowing that the rest of my family may not get rooms and she cut me off saying they were extremely busy. Such a shame because my family and I ( all grown adults) would have been booking many rooms in their hotel.
We were there this weekend, staff was very courteous. We met lots of nice people around the pool. Looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you Rich and Kim for making us feel at home. Todd and Renee
If you like a clean motel, are hardly on property, and don’t mind owners and housekeeping in your room all the time, then this is your spot. There is mandatory housekeeping everyday. What? I felt so uncomfortable that someone had to go in my room. I always use Marriotts when traveling and thought quite odd that there was mandatory room visits. We were there only two nights and the after the first night housekeeping workers and owners sister in my room 3 times! I am in my 60s and felt like a college student having room checks.
In addition, fairly early in evening about 9:15 pm, sitting outside room with spouse watching football game, we were told too loud. All guests outside were told this as owner walked over to 70 year olds down the walkway to tell them they were too loud. We saw hardly any kids and after reading other reviews after we had already checked in realized the problem.
This is strange Motel and yes clean but never will go back.
We just left this morning and had another great stay! The rooms, pool, and grounds are incredibly clean. Every single employee we encountered is super friendly and they even called and sent me a text when I left my charger there. The price and location make it our favorite place to spend a few nights down the shore.
