We arrived in Point Boro on Halloween 1986 from NYC, and asked our neighbor to recommend a good pizza place. Without hesitation he said "Vesuvio". For over 30 years Vesuvio has been our "gold-standard" of pizza!. A legend to our family, and we never found better in NY, NJ, or anywhere! They use quality ingredients. Crust is thin, sauce is the best, with just the right amount of olive oil and seasonings. Now the kids are grown and gone, so when we don't finish a pie, we freeze it, and it's just as good re-heated in a hot oven! Crust is crispy, sauce and cheese bubbly! WOW! The chicken-parm subs are yummy and we are all fond of the hot-mussels. This family business is seriously all about the food! Pure and simple.
