We went to Shapiro's in Red Bank for a late lunch on a Friday. The food was very good and we all left happy. I had a sandwich called The Katie, which was grilled chicken breast with avocado, roasted red peppers and swiss on health bread. So good. Other diners had matzo ball soup, hot dogs, pastrami on rye, turkey club and I think corned beef sandwiches. They have a fried potato knish, which the knish eaters in our group loved, all the typical deli items were available and they sold prepackaged items as well. Service was good, fast and friendly. First time there and no complaints.
