Not a New Hotel.

TripAdvisor should change their summary of this property. Hotel is old and in in very poor condition. In our first room nothing worked. Tried to get on the internet, but couldn’t. Tried to call front desk, but phone was dead. Walked down to front desk and told person at desk that phone didn’t work. She said “huh”. Told her couldn’t connect to wifi. She picked up her phone, looked at the screen and said “I’m on. Try the one with the underscore”. We finally gave up and went out to dinner. When we came back found out the tv didn’t work. When I went to desk and told the same person about that, she said “that’s odd.” Got a new room. Tv and phone worked, but wifi only connected sporadically. Only needed their phone to call desk and ask for towels, but saved me walking down to front desk a few times. Found out over our five night stay, that there was no maid service, unless you specifically asked for it. And even after you asked for it, you didn’t get it. Did get fresh towels, but had to ask for them every day. There were literally holes in the carpet. Wallpaper was peeling everywhere. Room keys failed twice and had to be updated to enter room, my soon to be favorite desk clerk told me at check in that they still had free breakfast, “but it was nothing to write home about”. Have to give her points for honesty, but she actually was overselling it. The staff people were all friendly, but generally ineffective. Stay somewhere else.

The room with 2 queen beds was small. We stayed 2 night for 2 adults and paid over $360 on a Tues and Wed night. There is no breakfast--just coffee and spoiled OJ. The pool was not open....The maid never came to our room....No clean towels or even dumping the trash cans...Bring your own soap--the one bar is the size of a half dollar.

If you're staying for business you should probably look elsewhere. We rarely had WiFi while there. But it was clean, comfy mattresses and pillows, good water pressure and air conditioning - things that are important. The cosmetics of the room could use an update. The wallpaper was peeling in the room and the bathroom. There was a fridge and coffeemaker but no microwave (they advertise one); an ironing board but no iron and the bar to hang your clothes in the closet was missing as were the hangers. No hot breakfast as was also advertised but that was supposedly because of COVID. They had a grab-n-go brown bag breakfast with a tangerine, granola bar and bottle of water. It was better than nothing but could have been more substantial since you're still paying for the hot breakfast. Overall, for our one night stay, it was adequate.

Stayed here overnight. Nice jacuzzi but no bubbles. Plenty of parking. Only inconvenience were the guests next door who were very loud and would start arguing. Breakfast is given in breakfast bags now due to covid.

The hotel is very nice. very nice front desk staff. clean rooms and bathrooms. the pool was closed due to COVID which is understandable. Bed is so comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. Would recommend to anyone coming to toms river!

I stayed at this hotel while traveling in for business reasons in the area. At first it was fine, room was ok, chairs were stained and gross but I see this in hotels. Bed was clean.

My rating comes from the desk staff upon checkout. They were not very nice and refused to give me an invoice for my stay. They shunned 3RD party booking and made me feel like I did something wrong. Will not be staying with the brand again.

Unfortunately we do not give you receipts from any 3rd party sites. That is something you must get yourself from whomever you booked through.
And you are correct, we have a bad taste in our mouths due to dealing with these off brand sites. Very often the reservations are filled with mistakes.
I am sorry that you were so sensitive to my comment, I guess I've learned to let comments just roll off my back and and ignore them.
