In a seasonal resort town like Wildwood, I know finding a nice hotel is hard. Lotus Inn is the exception. Though it's a little more expensive than other hotels (we paid $215 per night (before taxes) in late June for a room with "central air", 2 rooms, a queen bed, a double bed, and a sofa bed), we found it to be well worth it. They seem to work hard to maintain cleanliness and comfort. The pool was recently (within last few years) redone. It seemed small but rarely seemed overcrowded. I know some reviews noted the rules, but we didn't find them burdensome, and saw them as attempts to keep the place clean and family friendly. Complimentary breakfast was great, but if you snooze you lose. Bagels were some of the best I ever had and they had cinnamon raisin, plain, blueberry, and sesame. They had a few different kinds of delicious fresh donuts, breads, a few kinds of cold and hot cereal, decaf and regular coffee, cream cheese, butter, jelly, and orange juice. They serve from 7 to 9. We noticed that the options dwindled in the 2nd hour. They had cardboard trays to take your breakfast back to the room. The hotel is a full block off the beach, and across the street from a large public "park" (large lawn, playground, gazebo). Wifi was spotty. Everything around the property seemed clean and well cared for. Parking was sufficient. As one of the taller hotels in the area (7 floors), the views were great!

This is our second year staying at the Lotus Inn. The location is great, right across from the beach, and many family friendly activities and restaurants. Rooms are kept very clean, and the staff is very attentive and friendly, which certainly is a big plus when you want to avoid hassles on vacation. We'll be back for sure.

The Lotus was a great stay...also it is a hotel not motel so it has an elevator ....the pool is clean and there is a nice game room.....Absolutely great views of the ocean has well. One problem the Lotus has is the motel next store....they cater to a lower class people and at the pool a lot of there guest come over....other then that it was great times and great owners !!!

First time to Wildwood Crest. Our stay was wonderful. Could not have asked for anything more. Free breakfast, which was very nice a couple of our days. The heated pool was nice when we got tired of the sand. It was nice you could rent umbrellas and chairs right there.

This review is long overdue. We have been going to the Lotus Inn for 6 years, and every stay has been great. The staff is so nice and helpful, they even let you park in their lot and use their pool before and after check out. The room is clean with a lovely deck. As someone who hates cigarette smoke, I love their strict no smoking policy. The location is great, right across from the ocean with just a park separating it
with an open field, playground, and bike rental on the corner). It's a quite area, but easy access to all the amusements on the boardwalk. It's also just 15 minutes to Cape May. Great hotel for families. My daughter loves this place so much, she refuses to go anywhere else at the shore!
