I went to Chandi for my birthday celebration and it was GREAT. This is a must visit restaurant when you are in Seminyak. The food is great, presentation and service are perfect. We went there on our last night in Bali sadly or else would have gone back the next day again.
The food is value for money, we had the CHANDI APPETIZER TASTING and it was great. The black pepper crab dumplings are outstanding. We tried a few more dishes and all were great.
Recommended drinks - Green Herbed Mojito
Recommended Seating - At the back in the garden area... If you are in bali, you got to be outdoors :)

We had our first visit to Chandi the other night and were so happy with the food, atmosphere and most importantly service. We shared a dim sum platter (very tasty and intricate) for entree and I had the pork belly for mains (amazing!) whilst my husband had the seafood platter (well sized and impressive spread). For drinks, the waiter recommended a spicy cocktail, which we thought we'd try, however the flavour didn't agree with our tastebuds - we were asked why we weren't drinking them and explained our distaste but said we were fine with the remaining water on our table, but the waiter insisted we chose another drink and didn't charge us for any of them - this sort of service is hard to come by. For dessert we shared a trio
of choc mousses which finished the night perfectly. In closing, don't be put off by the flight of stairs it takes to reach the Chandi oasis - the elevated position makes for more ambience and alleviates most of the bustling traffic below. You won't be disappointed!

What a great dining experience from the moment we walked in the door. We ordered a cocktail each from Chandi's amazing cocktail list, both were very delicious and certainly not skimping on the booze! We ordered the tasting plate and everthing on there was very tasty, especially the beef rendang enveopes and the tofu! The rendang in the envelopes was the BEST I've ever tasted!
For mains we chose the ceremonial satays, a mixture of traditional and modern satays. The peanut sauce and accompanying sambals were all absolutely amazing! Not the most budget friendly restaurant in Bali but worth every last rupiah! The only negative things I would say are, we weren't advised of the daily specials and the guy that served us was a little bit pushy when we declined the offer of the dessert menu.
