We stayed for 5 nights in a one bedroom villa. The location is good and central, however the road down to the villas is pitch black and full of potholes, not ideal.

The villas are supposed to give people mobile phones to call the shuttle bus but we weren’t offered this service at all, not sure who qualifies for this preferential treatment…the shuttle bus is handy to go out but it would be much handier to be able to get picked up as well as dropped in various locations.

The villa area itself was spacious for a one bed, the lounge/kitchen was a bit of a pointless use of space however. It was good to have a large fridge and complementary water each day was a nice touch. My main problem was that the pool area was grubby and unclean, the decking hadn’t even been swept and I had to ask for the sunbed to be cleaned as it was so grubby I wouldn’t even lie on it. We only had one sunbed for two people which was ridiculous but the pool area was so small two wouldn’t have fit. I specifically asked for a large pool area up front but this request was not observed.

The towels and bedding were a bit worn and grubby also, with some stains even on the freshly issued linen. All in all I wouldn’t recommend staying here, a private pool villa sounds nice but in reality these villas are not luxurious (don’t trust the glossy website pictures) and for the money you could get a much better boutique hotel somewhere in Seminyak.

The BFF bar area was nice and cheap and the staff were all lovely. We had a massage in the spa which was good and a bargain. Seminyak itself is noisy and crowded, restaurants are busy (we were high season) and you need to book the best ones. I recommend staying in a peaceful resort such as the Seminyak if you can afford it. The traffic is a real problem, crossing the road is at your own peril, you cannot escape the taxis and mopeds and there’s nowhere you can really just stroll around casually, you need to have your wits about you constantly or basically get run over. Seminyak needs some kind of pedestrianised area or something...

Room tip: I can only think 2 bed villas must generate any positive reviews...

The Jas Green Villas pros and cons:
Pros:
Cheap
Villa comes with a pool with a waterfall
Two bedrooms with two separate bathrooms
Bathrooms were very very nice (outdoor themed)
Love the cabana
Nice interior

Cons:
Service really needs improvement
Front desk staff and restaurant crew not friendly and accommodating (except for the bartender in the restaurant)
They do not replenish the amenities and have to ask them for it per day
Staff too lax and not attentive to guest's needs
Short walk in a dark alley to get to your villa

The villa was spacious and has nice interiors but service was not so good. The Jas Green villas is located at the heart of Seminyak. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again if I go back to Bali as I would love to try living in other villas the next time around.

After we had a mix up with the villas (we booked the jas villas in the wrong area by mistake) they staff were very helpful in trying to accommodate for us- even in peak season! We managed to change to the area we needed to be in at the help of the wonderful staff. The villa itself is gorgeous. Decent size bedrooms, beautiful bath tubs- one ensuite forces you to relax amongst the nature :) beautiful. Beds are comfortable (although my sister thinks the pillows are a little high) the plunge pool was perfect for cooling off and ofer the right amount of sunshine for some sun bathing.
A short walk to "eat street" with many fantastic choices for food.
Great choice in heart of seminyak

Although location is perfect at the heart of Seminyak yet we need to walk down around 500 m through the aisle which at night has no light at all.
The Pool is not as big as we expected.. It's more to kids pool for 2 yet the villa is meant to 4 adults.
Tried to grab breakfast and lunch there,, all were not recommended had no taste at all..
The Spa is sooo average
And not to mention the room location that I had was quite a distance.

We just returned from Bali and spent 10 nights at Jas villas. Our one bedroom villa was lovely and the plunge pool refreshing. Breakfast was provided daily in the restaurant and ranged from local style breakfast to eggs, bacon or pancakes. The location of the villas meant that it was nice and quiet but close to the bars, restaurants ships and services we needed. All the staff at Jas villas are friendly and they remembered who we were and our villa number. It was always nice to see a smiling face no matter where you were in the complex.
