Fantastic place!
It's located close to the beach and main tourist streets in Seminyak. Not to mention the delicious breakfast with homemade jams. Vanessa provided lots of useful information not only around Seminyak but also provided us with many helpful tips around Bali. She even helped us with booking transport and accommodation when we left her place.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Mia. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and a few minutes to the beach. The host, Vanessa, is absolutely wonderful and made us feel like family straight away. She helped us arrange transport from the airport, lined us up with great accommodations in Ubud and arranged our transfer there with a day long tour to temples, rice fields, an artists gallery and wild Herron refuge

Casa Mia is a fantastic place to stay. It's open layout encourages interaction with the other guests which is great if you're up for meeting interesting people from around the world. We truly enjoyed conversations with other travelers from Italy and Australia as well as our French hostess.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa Mia BnB for 2 nights. It was our first time to Bali and Vanessa was an amazing host. From getting from the airport to her location, helping us find our way around and helping us even set up lodging in Ubud - she was extremely helpful. The property is inspirational to say the least. There are inspirational sayings hidden throughout the house, which I truly enjoyed finding each day. We enjoyed meeting her other guests and formed new friendships as we indulged in a yummy breakfast each morning. Our overall experience was excellent at Casa Mia and we will definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

t is hard to describe Casa Mia and Vanessa with words but I will give it a ago. The place is beautiful. No other word to use here. It took me 2 hours to start calling it "home". An open house with a lush garden surrounding it from every side, Casa Mia should be on the top of your list. This place is not for everyone though. I say that because the essence and the reason why AirBnB is different is that you get to spend your holiday hosted by someone who lives in the place your visiting. You are guest at someone's home. If you want a sterile impersonal hotel experience, you won't appreciate the place for what it is. My only advice is for you to read what Vanessa wrote in the listing so you fully understand what the place is and is not about. Now, the reason why you should book the place is not the great location or the gorgeous open bathroom. You should book it for Vanessa. Vanessa is one of the warmest and most hospitable people I have met in my travel. She DOES care about her guests and you will see that in every derail. I will keep those to myself to cherich them but you should stay with her and make your own. Vanessa's been in Bali for 7 years now. Speaks fluent Indonesian and pretty much knows everyone in Bali. This is something you won't find in a book or a hotel. Practical tips: open house so mosquitoes are part of the deal. Get mosi repellant and your good. Ask Vanessa about her friend Jean Jean who is French / Vietnamese chef who runs his catering business in Bali. You will be lucky if you manage to try some of his food. Love.

This is a really cute Balinese Villa. We stayed here for 5 nights.
Positive: Great location for shopping & restaurants, lovely housekeeper who serves a nice breakfast.
Negative: 30 minutes walk to beach. No Swimming Pool. One Bathroom (without a separate toilet) which is shared by other guests who may be staying plus the owner.
Check how many people may be staying as we counted enough beds to sleep 13 people. We were lucky as we were the only people staying there during our time - thank goodness as there was disruption to the water supply during our stay (over 12 hours) which meant no showers or toilet!
We did enjoy & time in Seminyak but wish e had of been better informed regarding facilities.
