Had been here in 2009 for the first time and loved it. Waking up, coffee in hand, going outside and seeing deer in all over the parking lot. Not something you see a lot unless you live around mountains. It was priceless! Came back on August 15th and it was even more delightful. When I walked in to the motel, I was greeted by a very big dog that was very calm (he was on the other side of a gate). They had had a lot of rain prior to the visit and the room we were given first had a problem with the moisture (this happens in the southwest). We were given another room and were very pleased with it. It was very quiet and will recommend it to everyone heading that way, if we are full! Thanks for a great night!!

Room Tip: If you're looking for a chain hotel, with all the amenities, your in the wrong part of New Mexic...

Clean place, no a/c and wifi very poor. Owner has 4 large, barking dogs. Not much to do in Cimmaron, lots of dust, due to the fact, that most of the roads are not paved. Lots of wildlife to see. Dining, I suggest the Pizza shop or CC restaurant.

Room Tip: If you want good wifi, select a room closest to the house.

Great "mom & pop" feel to this place. Owner was a gentleman on the phone and then in person. Stayed in the "ski room." Clean, comfortable, fun decor. Clearly, the owners care about their motel and take great pride in running their business to create an enjoyable experience for their guests. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Well done!

Had 2 great stays here in August 2013. Making the reservations was easy and the staff worked with me to get what I needed. The owners/staff are great to work with in genral. The rooms are clean, and it's all very fair priced. I would stay here again for sure.

Room Tip: All rooms are "theme" rooms around the history of the area-.
