This is a genuine southwest Spanish food. The place has quirky decor, bright and colorful. It is not a tablecloth restaurant it is great New Mexican food with green chilies, pisole and corn tortillas. If you like greasy, boring Tex-Mex go to Taco-bell. This is awesome food.

This came at the recommendation of a local artist. I am so glad Reina had us try it. She said she was honored to have a dish named after her and it was perfect. The La Reina was two pork medallions smothered in New Mexico style chile. It was nice to sit by the fire pit while we waited. I recommend getting a drink from the bar while you wait.

A perfectly unique, perfectly New Mexican, PERFECTLY Taos experience. It's small inside. But youget to wait (in the winter) outside by a blazing wood fire, or in the summer that outdoor area becomes additional tables and chairs with umbrellas for an exquisite al fresco environment. The menu and food are perfectly divine. True Northern New Mexico cuisine. Do not miss lunch or dinner there. Enjoy the wait. It's worth it.

First off I'm not related to the owners of Orlando's. We as a family frequent Taos two times a year. And every visit is a stop at Orlando's. The food the service the cold beer is over the top one of the best places to spend your money. In the evenings they start the fire pit with pinon wood to take the chill off those waiting for a table. It's wonderful. You won't be disappointed here. I guarantee. If you are well I think there's a taco bell on Southside of town for you to enjoy authentic Mexican food.

Orlando's food is authentic northern New Mexican fare, minus the shrimp enchiladas and tacos! Sitting inside the brightly painted dining areas and smelling the wonderful aromas from the kitchen, one can only salivate. The food is served beautifully and quickly, the wait staff is friendly and well trained. During warmer months, one can sit outside on the patio. Beer and wine are available.
