Description: Located in the center of town, we offer the best quality of foods available anywhere. Chef Brett is a third generation resident of Red River, and has had restaurants in Red River for 35 years. Our present local is quaint with panoramic views of main street. We specialize in Choice hand cut steaks, Prime Rib, fresh seafood, and trout. We have cool salads, pasta, and our lunch menu offers full sandwiches. The Best N.M. green chile cheese burgers in the state. Great wine list, and the coldest Beer in town! We are celebrating our fifth year at our Lifts West Location, and would like to invite you to Brett`s Bistro.

Very small ski town and ski season is over but- Brett’s was open and had more specials than customers.
My wife had blackened ahi tuna. I’m guessing not locally sourced. She loved it and the veggie medley. I had a 12 oz NY Strip. Cooked perfect and the herbed Pinyon butter sauce was great. So after we ate we spied the third picture just down the street. What a nice day.

We came in after skiing. Kind of a late lunch. Three of us ordered burgers I ordered the Ruben. Do not miss the Ruben if you are here. The place is small, can get crowded but we were there in the between hours and it was half full. Service is knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. This late lunch became dinner it was filling and good.

We visited during spring break at 4:30 for an early dinner. After a day of travel the immediate seating was fantastic! The two younger children had a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders. The fries were delicious! Three adults had the chicken fried steak which was very good. The small was the perfect size. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were excellent sides. The last member of our party had the fettuccine. He loved it, but warning...it was spicy! Wait staff was excellent. We will definitely eat here again this trip.

I've ate here several times, Brett has a great menu but there's always something seasonal he has going. Wait staff is great, they get busy but do their best to accommodate everyone. Their Ribeye is cooked to perfection every time.
