Close enough to the plaza, shops & restaurants to comfortably walk; far enough from the town scene to be idylcally peaceful and quiet (and oh, the stars!), Right off 64, for an easy drive to the mountains: great scenery & hikng along the Enchanted Circle. The casita, so comfortable and beautifully decorated, felt like my home away from home, and Jim & Nancy could not have been nicer. When I come back to Taos, I'll definitely stay at the Burch St Casitas again, and I will heartily recomend this lovely place to anyone planning a Southwest adventure.

This is my 4th week long stay at the Burch Street Casitas, using this lovely property as a home base for exploring Taos and the surrounding areas. Located on a beautiful tree-lined street, within walking distance of the plaza, the amenities allow you to live like a Taosinian. The casitas are decorated in a lovely Taos style with wonderful art, comfortable beds, cozy living areas, nice bathrooms and private patios. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing wonderful meals using produce from the local Farmer's Market. Jim and Nancy are the perfect hosts, there if you need them but otherwise leaving you to whatever level of privacy you desire.

I was very impressed with the great hospitality during my stay at Burch Street Casitas. The wide interior space was well appointed with authentic mexican-style architecture and decoration. Location was incredibly close (easy walkiing distance) to Taos Shopping and Restaurants. After a weeks stay, I was dissappointed to have to go back home. Thanks for a great time!

Burch Street is perfectly located within walking distance of the plaza. The casitas are charming in every way. The space was generous so a long stay was easy---we weren't tripping over each other. The bed was comfortable (a major worry when travelling for an extended period) and after two weeks of hiking it was just what we needed. The shower was roomy, the water was hot. The full kitchen was a genuine plus and the washer/dryer a major bonus. The nicest little patio out back was perfect for ending the evening. The Casita was both practical and romantic! Most of all the loving care the owners have put into the Casitas made us want to come back!

This is a wonderful place which is close to (within walking distance) of town and is small and quiet. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. We enjoy the privacy and having our our little casita while we are there.
