Was looking for a clean, reasonable place to stay overnight..hit the jackpot. I'd give them 6 stars if I could..the owners bent over backwards to map out locations for us to eat, plus even called and made reservations with a special birthday treat to boot! I'm recommending this little gem to family and friends..central location too!

This unique experience will be a favorite memory for years to come. Bernie has thought of all the conveniences for making this overnight experience on a classic wooden boat a real treasure! With an river breeze gently rocking the boat, you’ll relax in no time. The added treat of a boat ride along the river with highlights of history that fascinate, make this the perfect getaway! The classic antique boat show was a great backdrop to a great time!

The location and place are great and the hosts are VERY knowledgeable, helping us enjoy our 2 days immensely by providing all the information about tours and sites.
We took the Clayton Boat Tour and enjoyed the Antique Boat Museum. Walked to Casino Island from Alex Bay

This lovely, quaint little hotel has about 6 rooms, making for a very down-home feeling. The rooms are immaculate, and it is within two short blocks of the Antique Boat Museum (a MUST) and the Wood Boat Brewery. Two more short blocks, and you have the wonderful Bella’s for breakfast (with homemade breads and pastries, right on the beautiful St. Lawrence River) and the Channelside for dinner (also on the river, with live dining music).
Bernie and Valerie, the owners, are lovely and very accommodating, arranging for personal fishing trips and telling you the best places to see.
I highly recommend The Wooden Boat Inn.

Room Tip: Each room has different size beds, ranging from full/queen to king to a room with two beds.

This is a quaint small place to stay with sufficient amenities. Community use room for coffee, refrigerator, ice, microwave, etc. Inside screened room and outside lounge area. Also they rent a boat sleeping room, offer evening cruises and a house for larger groups. We have stayed several times and would definitely visit again. Fair room rates.

Room Tip: Most rooms similar with comfortable outside seating. House offers additional options.
