Stopped here in the rain today as our camping weekend was cut short. Had delicious coffees, I had a hot latte and my wife had iced coffee. Both were delicious and adequately priced for the area.
It was a pleasure to be able to come inside out of the cold the day we had lunch here.
It is a cafe so don't expect anything fancy.
Meals are ordered at the counter; if you want soup, which we did, then you serve yourself from heated containers.
We each ordered a pannini, that was more like a large roll cut in half, and served with pickles, corn chips and salsa.
In addition we each had an almond milk latte after the meal.
All up it cost $30 which is probably on the high side for cafe food. Free wifi is great and the server most helpful and friendly.
We stopped here for lunch recently, while in Cold Spring. We ordered a panini and a large Mediterranean salad. Both were good, although service was somewhat slow. The ambiance and decor are somewhat lacking, and the food preparation area did not look to be tremendously well-organized. On the plus side, they offer free wi-fi, which is handy.
Love this cafe! Jimmy the owner is warm and welcoming. This is my go-to cafe after kayaking in Cold Spring, The paninis are delicious! I usually get the turkey, swiss (or gouda), tomato and avocado which comes w/ a side of bread & butter pickles and chips and salsa. The place is adorable - lots of couches and places to eat and relax. Highly recommend! Their frozen yogurt is delicious as well!
