The front desk staff was friendly and professional. Questions asked were returned with answers and a smile. The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The nice surprise was the keurig in room for our 4:45am coffee. Thank you for that. The room was spotless and roomy. The extras were there (hairdryer, iron and board, large tv and enough outlets to recharge your electronics) The sofa was a little soft. Breakfast was quick. I would have liked some berriesas fruit for breakfast. Cinnamon buns warm and good. We would definately stay here again.

Great rate, great room. Everything was spotless. Nice, elevated TV made watching a movie more confortable. Breakfast was good. 5 minute drive to Hall of Fame Museum. Cooperstown is a hidden gem. Will visit again.

We stayed at the HIE a few weeks ago. The hotel is outside of the town of Cooperstown, but not by much. It has all the modern conveniences and is very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating . We did have a problem with our room key and the room door and needed to have the front desk person clean the door access panel for us. Perhaps they should make that cleaning part of their normal maintenance. Other than that, it was a lovely home base for our Cooperstown sightseeing.

Very friendly staff, super clean and quiet, nice breakfast in the morning with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, all types of breads, eggs, juices, etc. I loved when the fresh baked cookies came out every evening, yummy! Such a nice surprise to have a frig and microwave oven in the room.

My son (12 years old) and I stayed here for one night to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the HOF, the reviews on this site, and the price. We are very happy with our choice.

Check-in was quick and hotel check-in staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to provide dinner recommendations in the area that turned out to be good choices for us.

Our room had two queen beds as we requested and was far from the elevator, also as we requested. In fact, we were the farthest room from the elevator. Our room was on the second floor and there is a convenient set of stairs right across from the elevator. We found the stairs much faster and used them each time.

The one issue we found with the room was that the bathroom was much colder than the rest of the room. This could have been because we had the farthest room on the floor which meant we were in a corner room. Despite being a corner room, the room was not larger than other rooms and didn't have extra windows, but perhaps the fact that the bathroom shared an outer wall rather than sharing a wall with another hotel room made the bathroom colder? Either way, we kept the bathroom door open when not in use so the heat from the rest of the room would also reach the bathroom. That seemed to solve the problem for us. I suspect this would only be an issue in the winter, so if you're travelling here when the weather is warmer, you shouldn't have an issue.

The breakfast was as expected based on the other reviews we read, not fancy, but a relatively large selection given that this is a Holiday Inn Express.

The drive to the HOF is very easy from the hotel, turn right out of the parking lot and then right again on Main Street for a few blocks. The HOF will be on your right.

This hotel was perfect for us. Close to HOF, clean, and well priced.
