Just spent a wonderful weekend at East Hampton Art House. The owners Rosalind and Michael, are so warm and welcoming. It is like staying with friends. Our room was quite large, and spotless, with comfortable robes in the closet.
There is a butler's pantry available 24 hours, with a full line of beverages and delicious snacks. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices, all cooked to perfection. The large common living room has a beautiful fireplace which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Tour Rosalind and Michael's respective art studios, two very talented artists.
This lovely oasis awaits, just a short drive from the town of East Hampton. We plan to re-visit again in warmer weather so we can experience the beautiful gardens and nearby beach. Thank you to our hosts, Rosalind and Michael for sharing your beautiful home. We feel like we have made new friends, and we will return!

Thank you so much, Linda. What a generous review.. And you two are wonderful people and great guests, indeed.
We love what we do and are always happy to help our visitors feel totally at home, welcome and relaxed. Glad to see our guests have a lot of fun too! What better way is there to form lasting friendships?
We look forward to seeing you again. Yes, it is glorious here in warm weather. The gardens are spectacular. Every season has its beauty, which we know you appreciated, even on a winter's day. Can't wait to open the outdoor pool, even so!!!
Till next time.

My husband and I stayed at the Art House for the weekend of his 35th birthday in January 2018. We have demanding careers and work schedules, and two equally demanding toddlers, so we were looking forward to a "do nothing" weekend away from home and the kids. The Art House was BEAUTIFUL, and we could not have been happier. Michael and Rosalind are the loveliest people----they were so warm and welcoming, but also not overbearing in any way. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, so were a little concerned about privacy, and, frankly, the awkwardness of staying in a stranger's home. But I must say the Art House felt more like we were renting our own home (that conveniently came with rent-a-friends lol)--it was a nice balance between the privacy of staying in a hotel and the hospitality of staying with friends.

Accommodations: We stayed in the Master Spa Suite. The bathroom was a wonder, with a sauna, hot tub, and the most amazing shower you will ever take. We enjoyed the sauna throughout the weekend, and the steam shower was such a treat. I googled every single amenity in that bathroom before the weekend was over because I wanted to update our bathroom at home with all of it! The place was very modern, meticulously well-thought out and maintained. The fireplace at the foot of the bed was very romantic and perfect in this chilly weather. The entire home is decorated with Michael and Rosalind's art work and they are so talented. We loved walking around and checking out all of the art work. The bed and pillows were super comfy, and you can block out all the sunlight and lights from the rest of the house with the multiple shades. It made for the best sleep. We spent 85% of our time in the room and never felt holed up because the room was so spacious.

Food: The breakfast was delicious, there were tons of options. The butlers pantry was well-stocked and had a great selection of tea, coffee, and soft drinks. There was also a very nice assortment of snacks. Michael and Rosalind were very helpful and provided us with great options for dinner nearby, and took care of the reservations for us.

Hosts: I cannot say enough about the hosts. Michael and Rosalind clearly love people and they are just so good at making you feel like you've known them forever.

This was a great experience and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend for couples looking to re-connect and/or get away from the kids and work for a laid back weekend.

Room Tip: Master Spa Suite is worth the extra money

Dear Amina,
I feel as if I must write this as a letter to both of you, not just a response to a review. Though, to be sure, we are always grateful for our stellar reviews.
When a charming and sweet couple such as your yourselves arrive at our door, we are always so glad to set out the welcome mat. As you say, we love people, and how lucky we are that the people who grace us with their presence are always happy. This is a happy business we are in, so in that sense, when folks come here to celebrate their special occasions or their much needed and anticipated vacations and find themselves treated well to the best of our ability, it's a win-win for everyone. Tranquility, comfort, luxury and friendly service are what we are delighted to offer, along with our special amenities. We are so pleased that we can provide all of the above and more. We blush at your praise, but are also grateful that we have made our B and B not only a fun place to stay for our visitors, but a kind of refuge for all who cross our threshold. We hope to see you again. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and passing along your kind words.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary on 12/28/17 and sought to find a bed and breakfast on the eastern end of Long Island which could provide a quiet and romantic getaway. As well, we chose to stay in the Hamptons for its proximity to a job I am starting in January 2018, and we wanted to explore the area. The Art House offered us a lovely option which impressed us and offered beautiful accommodations to satisfy all of our needs. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were immersed in a welcoming place full of artistry, comfort, solace, sophistication, and kindness. We were houseguests of Rosalind Brenner and Michael Cardacino who manage the Art House with love and warmth! They were helpful in directing us to area restaurants and places of interest, and their breakfasts were delicious.
A tour of their studios offered a special glimpse into the lives of prominent artists in New York State! Our stay was cozy and luxurious and we feel as though we have found two new friends in Rosalind and Michael! We hope to return to celebrate our 11th anniversary!

Dear Irene and David,
You are the reason our work is gratifying and fun. It is always a pleasure to meet and serve the great new guests who come to our door.
You two were a double, triple joy to meet. It was really delightful for us to make sure you were provided everything you needed for your celebration.
We wish you all you wish for yourself in your new adventure and many more years of love and happiness for the two of you. See you next anniversary, if not before!
Sending warm regards,
Rosalind and Michael

We had a great time at the Art House. The owners were gracious, helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, spacious updated and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a menu of choices. They offer a nice gym and many activities (pool table, darts, movie room, games, great art collection, bikes, indoor lap pool, more..). We will definitely be back.

Thank you, dear guests, for your kind review. We are happy to show our guests the best of times even when it is winter and not "high season". East Hampton is a hidden treasure this time of year. Although we are never crazy crowded here in our B and B, off- season visitors have a wonderful time; a getaway full of discovery, fun, and relaxation.
We look forward to seeing you again.

The Art House is an absolute gem. The house is stunning and set amidst the most beautifully peaceful gardens. Michael and Rosalind, together with their team of lovely ladies made our stay quite perfect. What lovely warm and interesting people they are. We were celebrating a special anniversary and everything about our stay, the people, the comfort and location exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this lovely house and its owners highly enough and very much hope to return on a future visit to the States.

Room Tip: Any room would be comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed.
