We love it here! The food, service, menu, interior, everything is wonderful! We had a wonderful meal just before the John Hiatt concert and it was a great way to start a fun evening. The creole shrimp, Monkfish special, the special hanger steak and drinks ( Smoked honey bourbon, and High Plains Drifter) were perfect. The desserts were toooooooooooo good. We had peanut butter pie and chocolate decadence. There is an upstairs and downstairs-just be warned when you make your reservations if you have trouble with stairs. We love to sit upstairs and watch down into the kitchen with the pizza guy making tons of pizzas in the brick oven. Those waitresses earn every tip running up and down those stairs. Our waitress, MaryAnn, was delightful!

Halsey's has a wonderful atmosphere and menu including brick oven pizza and other menu items also made in the oven but there are beef and fish options as well. The specials menu is just as inviting! Good wine and beer selection as well.

Halsey's has a brick oven with which they make pizza, meat balls, etc. Those are great, but they do other things which arev great too. The room is a classy bar/restaurant feel that is vibrant without being overwhelming. The upstair is a little quieter, if that's what you want. The bartender is great, so sitting at the bar is good too. They have a great list of Finger Lakes wines and also wines from around the world. The food is well prepared and cleverly thought out, without being too precious. The pizza is a go to. Only issue is that when they are busy, it takes awhile to get served. It seems as if they are spreading the waitstaff pretty thin. But if you want a great evening for dinner, it is one of the best in Geneva.

We were struggling to find a restaurant in the heart of Geneva to dine. Many restaurants aren't open on a Sunday evening. Our B&B recommended Halsey's. We booked ahead, which I'd recommend, as it was very busy. The food...pizza and salad...was delicious. Ask for a table downstairs...livelier atmosphere and very pretty.
