Ventosa Vineyard offers not only a great selection of wines, but a nice food selection, with great views. We chose to eat on the expansive back patio over looking the vineyards and Lake Seneca. It was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the day.

We stopped for lunch and a glass of wine. Had the personal pizza, it was so good we came back the next day for another one. All four of the people in our party loved the pizza.

My husband and I visited on the Thursday prior to Columbus weekend. There were a few other couples there. We had a lovely lunch (prime rib panini and French dip) and glasses of outstanding wine, a cab franc and a Pinot Gris. Sat on the veranda overlooking the lake, bright cloudless warm sunny day! Perfect! We then sampled some wines before leaving. Our bartender was cordial, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines were very good. A good day.
On Saturday of Columbus weekend, we returned with our friends, for tastings. We always in years past had a lovely time in this beautiful setting. Upon entering, we were told it would about a 45 minute wait, as they were reserving one bar area for others, who did not show while we waited, and there were only 2 other bar areas open, maybe 10-20 people being served per area. One would think, on the busiest day of the year, they would be fully staffed to accept guests. Must be they don’t want or need the business, it was the emptiest of the 4 wineries we had visited that day. After 20 minutes, we left.

Stopped in for a light lunch and a wine tasting.

Tried 2 whites and 3 reds. The whites we're refreshing. Sangiovese was nice. Cabernet was favorite.

Had the prime rib panini and it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

Views we're incredible. Get a glass of wine and sip on the deck.

Thank Scott H

Was made to wait 25-30 minutes for a tasting. Ordered a flatbread Classico pizza in the meantime. Tasting was at the bartender's pace, which was too slow for our taste. View was pretty and landscaping excellent. We were rushed out of there so they could prep for a wedding.
