The setting is extremely pretty and lovely to sit in the outdoor garden.
For the second time in Hudson the service sadly ruined our experience. The server had an odd attitude and insisted on not writing anything down. The upshot was that we got the wrong food and food was forgotten. What is the issue with writing it down??????? The food took so long that we nearly walked out.

What a beautiful building, space and patio on Warren St. ...
This is where my positive feedback stops.

Way over-priced.
Service is looooooong.
The baked goods are perfectly fancy-perfect for hypsters with no tastebuds.
The pumpkin pie has more crust than filling.
The bread, supposely their "pride" is the worse : dry, untasty, chewy.
The coffe is not strong : it is bitter and over roasted.
As we say in French "une fois, deux fois, mais pas trois!"

Won't be back.

We weekend in this area for many years. The chefs and the bakers here are very good.
We just ate here the past two Fridays. I had the Salad Nicoise last week and the Salmon last night. Both evenings exceeded expectations and were very relaxing. Most of the baked goods are extraordinary and a genuine treat! Our servers who are friendly, helpful and kind have been Aria and Katie. Lovely Old World ambiance.

The server was friendly and the service was fine, but the place was so loud we could barely hear one another talk. We all felt it was very pricey for what we ordered,I would most likely not eat here again. There are a few diners nearby with much better prices. Also the menu seemed limited.

We enjoyed a weekday brunch here while staying in town. My husband enjoyed the omelette with ham and gruyere. I had a traditional breakfast of perfectly cooked over eggs, potatoes and bacon. Both were served with lightly dressed mixed greens and a slice of baguette. Our server was very kind and efficient. Reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere. We will be back again!
