the 2 young owners(twins) are really hospitable and provide an excellent buffet breakfast

the accommodation is very comfortable-it is very spacious with all you need-comfortable bed and chair and good lighting

bathroom very good and also spacious

we had extra room in our unit in which we could keep any food and use kettle etc

located 2 miles from centre but easy to drive to it

wholeheartedly recommend it

Room Tip: only 5 units

Spent 4 nights here in May in the North Suite. Delighted to find a spacious room with a large, well fitted bathroom and an enormous kitchen. With our own front door to the verandah it was very much home-from-home and even though it was just off the road it was quiet at night and we slept soundly. Very good breakfast where Collin and Aaron always took the time to offer delicious food and talk about our plans and recommend restaurants etc. Nothing was too much for these charming men despite their clearly being very busy around the property. Dio the dog and the 2 cats were a bonus! The relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views made it the perfect place from which to visit Ithaca and the Finger Lakes area. Highly recommended and hope to return again one day soon.

We arrived a bit late and the owner was there to greet us and show us around. He was very helpful and personable. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette was a huge bonus and we had everything we could have needed. Most definitely the best spinach, feta omelet I've ever had was served for breakfast in an adorable kitchen overlooking the entire valley. Dio the dog snuggled up on his bed while we ate made it feel just like home. Amazing work guys! We will definitely be back.

This is a much delayed review but we just couldn't forget to review our lovely stay at the City Lights Inn! We stayed two nights in the Studio room for a fall Ithaca wedding. The room was cozy, well-maintained, and clean. Collin and Aaron are terrific hosts--they are friendly and have great suggestions for Ithaca activities if you're new to the city.

Other highlights:
-Collin and Aaron cook up an amazing breakfast on weekends (french toast, fresh fruit, yogurt/granola, omelets, fresh baked muffins)
-The Inn is on a hill overlooking Ithaca/Cornell, a convenient <10 min drive to downtown Ithaca and surrounding campuses
-Collin and Aaron have an adorable and friendly dog (Dio), who watches over the Inn and politely sits in the kitchen corner while you eat breakfast

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend, and I fell in love with the Inn. It's set on a hill overlooking Ithaca with an incredible view of the skyline. The house itself is quirky and charming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the brothers who run the Inn are so welcoming.

I can't say enough positive things, and I hope to stay here again soon. It was a unique lodging experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in "Granny's Room". There is no en-suite bathroom but the way the house is s...
