We had our wedding in Montauk in October 2018, and nearly all of our guests stayed at Montauk Manor – it was a great experience. Donna, the event coordinator, is the star of the show. She made the process easy – from coordinating a showing of the rooms when she wasn’t there, to setting up a straightforward contract, to extending that contract as more and more of our guests filled the block – Donna routinely went above and beyond to give our guests a great experience. She also made our guest gift giving easy - making sure each guest had a welcome bag ready in the room.

Don’t be fooled by the images in Google – the Manor might be from 1920, but the rooms have seen an update since then (and since 1970, if some of the pictures are to believed). The rooms are updated and modern, spacious, and comfortable – newly renovated over the last few years. For guests of all family types, Montauk Manor offers studio, one, two, and three bedroom options – flexibility that a our guest list appreciated, knowing we had both couples of families with 4+ children joining us.

The property is beautiful – overlooking the ocean, with manicured grounds, and plenty of space to enjoy the view. One quick heads up – the Manor likes Halloween A LOT. Scarecrows, cobwebs, pumpkins – it is all there, and it is EVERYWHERE. If you’re hoping for a “front of house” shot for your October wedding, you’ll have to be okay with a bit of a Halloween theme. If that’s not your thing, pick any other month and you’ll have amazing pictures, inside and out.

If you compare prices from the room block to other venues of quality around Montauk (Gurney’s, Yacht Club, Sole East, etc.), you will be pleasantly surprised by the accessibility of Montauk Manor’s room prices, even if the two-night minimum (common everywhere in Montauk) is a bit of a pain for guests who are a bit more local. The free shuttle into town is a great add on as well.

Bottom line: Montauk Manor went above and beyond for us, with a beautiful venue, easy to work with, easy to stay in, with plenty of options for any types of weddings or events. Donna and the team do great work. If it’s not on your list to check out – give them a call!

This manor is so impressive from the inside and out. It is difficult to offer a usual review as each of the apartments available are privately owned. This means that they may vary a great deal in standard. We had apartment 201. This was a deluxe studio apartment which had been fully refurbished and was beautifully appointed. The grounds of the manor are amazing and there are beautiful views from around the grounds. Spoil yourself and enjoy the palatial surroundings.

My husband and I spent a night at the Montauk Manor for a friends wedding that was taking place close by. The hotel was nice and clean and if the weather had been better I’m sure the view and grounds would have been beautiful. The room decor was a bit out dated but the room was still very nice.

My husband and I stayed at the manor the weekend of our wedding! My bridesmaids and I stayed there two nights prior to my wedding and we were treated like royalty. Donna took such great care of us along with her amazing staff. If you are thinking about staying here I highly recommend it to everyone for an overwhelming amount of reasons. There is a shuttle so you don’t have to worry about driving anywhere. The staff is so kind and helpful. And the views are fantastic. Again, a special thanks to Donna because she really made the stay that much more special!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and loaded with historic charm. I have been a guest multiple times over the past twenty yers. It is always a treat to stay at the Montauk Manor.
