The food was very good. Ravioli and gluten free pasta were the selections, and we were satisfied with the quality of both. The calamari appetizer was very good as well but not as fresh as we expected - not bad, just not great. Setting was very nice on the river. Only drawback was a waiter that started with attitude. At first he just seemed elitist but just turned out to be rude sometimes - I guess I was a difficult customer when I asked about bourbon choices for an old fashioned. He warmed up eventually (hmmm...closer to the time to tip), but for a "fine dining" experience he should have taken more time and had more class. Should have been outstanding for two benjamins, but just very good.

The food is good, not great. The service is slow. The servers a very pleasant, but everything seems to take forever even when the place is not busy. The price is At the very high-end. For six adults and two children with only one glass of wine for each of the six adults the bill was almost $500. I won't be going back for a very long time. It's also not very kid friendly given how long it takes to get service and a lack of any children's menu items.

An irritable waiter recited a VERY long list of 'specials' with such a heavy accent, that by the time he finished we couldn't choose/remember what was said. Nothing against accents, but a list to read of so many items would have been so preferable. When we asked for a shorter repeat, he wasn't glad to do it...
We waited nearly a half hour for appetizers.
My choice of scallops on a bed of leeks was misleading; the scallops were fine, but they were on a very heavy cream sauce with a few strands of leeks.
My husband's veal scallopini, chosen because it should have been a classic (& they were out of the fish he wanted), was awful: oily & tough to chew. Truly awful.
This wasn't a cheap meal. If you want to eat on the waterfront, try Blu Pointe.

Nice location, if you like looking at a motorboat marina.
The one waiter for 40 tables is par if average to unimaginative food at high prices turns you on.
Polpo looked like it had been struck by lightning and dropped on a plate. Snapper drowned in marinara. Lava cake a fizzle. $185. Need I go on?
So popular. Who knew?

Cena 2000 is a nice place to stop if it's time for a meal on the way home from downstate. The view is very good... food tasty and reasonably priced..... service decent.
