Rooms are very poorly furnished. There is mould on the wall and ceiling. TV not working. Wifi initially did not work although the staff were helpful and put a router in my room. There is a glass panel over the door letting in light so hard to get to sleep. MAtress has no cover. Great big green letters all over sheets and pillow cases. evening meal really poor quality. Fish and potatoes very dry, vegetables raw. No tatare sauce and waitress disappeared for a long time so I couldn't ask for it. Not even any tonic and the smallest tot of gin I have ever seen, impossible to taste with the Crest I had to substitute for tonic. Not even a hot tap for the bathroom wash basin. No lift, lots of stairs.

Room tip: Dont even consider the basic rooms. I could not recommend this hotel at all. The staff are friendly but everything else is awful

The Mountain Breeze hotel was not what i expected for any hotel in Embu being my first visit there. Awesome staff especially the lady at the reception.Scenic views of Embu from the hotel rooms and awesome food too.

The hotel is well constructed and modern to look at. But that's as far s it goes.
The menu is almost useless as most of the items are not available.
The construction and the interior decor of the hotel don't match.
The swimming pool is big and open.
There is parking available.

Where do i start? This is a relatively new hotel in Embu so we decided to try it out .Do not believe the hype from the locals, there was so much going on there that night ,parties and gatherings and meetings we were sure that we'd made the right choice.Checked in to the rooms and realised it was a cry for HELP.I mean for the amount you pay for this place they could do better.Cheap Chinese everything, the finish, sinks, ceiling ,towels look like they used to be white but are on there way to turning brown.Do you guys know a person called an Interior Desighner?kindly consult one, your rooms are so clumsy everything just looks out of place. At some point were woken up by a wet bed,Yes the roof was leaking God knows if it was from the toilet above us or the bathroom! Imagine the horror at first i though i was dreaming!! And to make matters worse they do not have intercom telephones in the room so you have to google and call from the website. The guy at the reception said they would send someone after we had checked out .smh.Long story short KEEP OFF! spend your money elsewhere my friends ,this was a total case of daytime theft .

Room tip: Do not book any room here please!

You couldn't make this up, this has to been seen to be believed. Worst in comfort, design, service - pretty much anything you might expect of a hotel, you won't find it here. Literally painful to stay here.

Room tip: There isn't one - I'm in the best they have. Can't imagine what it's like one level down from this.
