I went to a holiday in Santorini with my family and choose this hotel. What I can say here is we were having an amazing treatment with this hotel. They will clean up your room and your garments too!! Most of the days I was in a rush to go out and not bother to tidy up our own personal clothes and were thinking to do it later when we get back to this hotel. However after we came back at night everything was being cleaned including our clothes are properly folded!! The receptionist was so helpful and friendly to help us with everything. They even can pick u up for free at the ferry port even when your time of arrival at early in the morning!! (Our arrival time that day was at 3.30am). On top of that the hotel is very near to the city centre area. Walking for about 7mins and you are already at their main city. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service and we would like to stay there again!!

I can't say enough good things about the owners. They were amazing. Very, very friendly and helpful. First of all you are greeted by the owner's son, who picked us up from the airport, completely free of charge, volunteered to carry our luggage, and even drove us back to the airport. VERY important: My daughter forgot her Raybans in the mini van and he came back to the airport to give them to her!!!! Don't take something like that for granted in this time and age (of financial crisis).

The owner himself was also very friendly, giving us along with his daughter very useful information on where to go (even had a friend, fellow hotel owner, who gave us a ride to Imerovigli for free). Plus, he makes (like actually makes, all by himself) some delicious dessert wine which apparently can only be found in Santorini and is offered to you for free when you arrive at the apartments. Also, offered free coffee and tea in the morning, for those of you who like such things. Again, this is Santorini where everything is sooooo expensive.

Not these apartments though! We were very lucky to find this place, last minute, and at a good price. For me it's very important that everything looked relatively new, unlike several other places there (which I hear smelt of mold). The design of the bed can fool you, but it's not old, just a bit old fashioned I guess. However, it was very comfortable and the place was clean.

I guess the main disadvantage is the noise IF you stay in the apartments facing the front, like we did. I had mistakenly assumed that because it's not right in the center you wouldn't be able to hear the noise, but apparently it's on the main road leaving from the center of Fira, so everyone passes from there (one way street). First night it was a real problem, but maybe because it was Wednesday more people would go out? Thursday for some really weird reason there wasn't that much traffic. I'd definitely ask for a room at the back.

A big thank you to the owners :)

Room tip: If you mind the noise don't book a room in the front

We booked online at a good price and were a little nervous as to the quality of the accommodation at such a price.

We emailed the hotel in advance and were picked up from the airport free of charge. The room was ideal and we couldn't have asked for more. Nice double bed with clean sheets, nice bathroom with shower, which looked recently decorated. The room also had a balcony, air conditioning and a safe deposit box.

We were also dropped off at the port when we had to get a ferry; again free of charge.

The hotel also had a swimming pool, which was perfect for dipping in after a sweaty day hiking the volcano.

The hotel is about a 15mins walk from Fira, which is perfect if you also want to walk the other way to the village of Imergovili to catch an even better sunset.

A little tip for walking to Fira. Try to avoid the main busy road. Instead follow the path from the back of the hotel by the pool to the left and go to the Caldera at Firostefani where you can follow the cliffs to Fira. A perfect little 3 night stay!

The place was a welcome surprise. Despite the low price, the rooms were large (the bathroom had hot tub jets), comfortable, and clean. The location was slightly out of the way, but since we wanted to see the town anyway, the walk didn't bother us. The owner was very friendly and picked us up at the airport when we arrived. We found ourselves wishing we had stayed longer.

Hotel is very quiet just 10min walking from the center. They come to pick you up at the port or at the airport so that was so helpful then the room is enough for the price. Bed is confortable. Just shower doesn't have any pression
I recommend this place
