Wasn't sure what to expect after reading these reviews so kinda set my expectations low. Was very surprised when we opened the door and saw a very clean room that was made up very nicely. The front desk woman wasn't big on talking, but I wasn't there to have a conversation anyways. The room was clean and smelled nice, the bed was comfortable as well. The main attraction for this motel is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! 25 Minutes from Cooperstown, our visit was to the Hall of Fame. There are super restaurants all within walking distance and Wal Mart is right down the road. Morey's for breakfast and Sal's Pizzeria for lunch/dinner/late night. Maid service did a fantastic job with our room, when we returned to the room, they had cleaned the room spotlessly, made the bed and even folded our personal blankets. Bottom line is this isn't the Holiday Inn but it's not as bad as the other reviews. If you are planning a trip to Cooperstown, this is a great choice and we will make this choice again. Good job

3) Permanent residents in some rooms - smoking pot and playing loud music until late at night and that was a weekday!

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay at a reputable hotel!!! there are others in the area!!!

Only place available at the time of our travel from Kansas to Maine. Next time, sleep in the car!!! There were cigarette burns in the carpet, the bedspreads were soiled, the room was dark and dingy, a light flashed all night long and worst of all NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UGH!
