This was our first trip to the Fingerlakes, and after much research, we decided to stay at the Driftwood Inn Bed and Breakfast. The location is close to many vineyards and we even walked to one less than a mile away. The Inn has a private beach area right on Cayuga Lake. The porch overlooks that beach and provides the perfect venue for taking in the spectacular sunsets over the water or just experiencing the calm of the lake. Every morning, Jim and Tammy served up a delightful breakfast, worthy of any fine dining restaurant. Sitting on the porch lakeside with a cup of coffee afterward was just the perfect way to start the morning. We spent our days on the winetrails, or hiking at Taughannock Falls or Watkins Glen, or the Cornell Ornithological Lab, all of which were easy to get to from the Inn. The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We had Room #5 which had a jacuzzi tub...a very relaxing way to end a long day of walking or hiking. We had a most enjoyable stay and hope to be back soon!

Very nice and charming place by the beautiful Cayuga lake. The hosts Tim and Tammy are welcoming and makes you feel straight at home. The breakfasts vary and you wake up everyday curious for what great dish you'll get when you go downstairs. Highly recommended!

Last year we were looking for a place to finish our annual stay in the Finger Lakes. We had never stayed on Cayuga Lake before. The Driftwood had an opening, and we decided to try it. I am so glad we did. From the wonderful breakfast to the amazing sunrises and sunsets, the Driftwood is a perfect place for a get away. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts so much, we are renting one of the cottages for a week this summer. The porch on the back of the bed and breakfast is the perfect place to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. My favorite coffee mug is the mug, we bought there as it reminds of the amazing time we had last summer. Looking forward to July!

We stayed in room #5 (included jacuzzi tub) after spending the day on wine tour. Hosts were friendly and served a tasty breakfast - french toast, sausage, fresh fruit. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We would highly recommend.

Jim and Tammy were amazing hosts! Nice, available, interested in us but not overly involved, it was the perfect mix. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and the view over the lake was amazing. Jim made blueberry pancakes for breakfast which topped off a morning of drinking coffee on the porch watching the birds and lake. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone staying in Cayuga lake.
