My wife and I were looking for a place to spend our 45th Wedding Anniversary when my wife suggested the Harvest Inn, a place we have stayed in a number of times before. It took me all of 30 seconds to agree. We contacted Chris and Darolyn for the date and it was all set.
We went this weekend for a Wine Dinner, an event we were never able to participate in due to scheduling, and it was worth the wait.
As I have learned Chris was educated at the CIA and his Breakfast meals have always been outstanding. The dinner we had last night not only topped them all, it was better than any meal we have had in the Long Island Wine Country, and this was our 4th trip.
In addition, every time we have come for a visit we have been made to feel at home and their Inn has become a place to relax, explore the wineries and chill out from all that occurs in normal life. Unlike Napa, here you can go out and taste and yet come back to a welcome spot and read a book on the porch.
Now that we live on the east coast I find that we will visit more often if we can get a reservation.More
