This morning I had the pleasure of experiencing Sunday Breakfast at the Red Hook Country Inn. I have always defined myself as a connoisseur of Eggs Benedict, frequently ordering them at any new restaurant I encounter, in numerous states. After many years of this epicurean idiosyncrasy, I must say that Chef Nabil has surpassed all my expectations with his preparation and presentation of my favorite breakfast dish. The eggs were poached to perfection, the ham sweet and tender, the muffin toasted golden; but his Hollandaise Sauce was not only warm but had the sweet/tangy flavor that the taste buds crave. I will definitely spend more Sunday mornings at Chef Nabil's table.
