Wow. What a spectacular haven. Amy and Terrance have put their heart and soul into this inn. We stayed in a cabin and it was very cute. We had a gas fireplace with great bedding, overall comfort, and a great shower. They also have the best breakfast I've ever had in a B&B. My husband and I usually don't eat sweets, but we made an exception since this was vacation. We were here 3 nights and were served a different personal coffee cake each day. These are made fresh daily. They also have a menu with about 6 choices. I tried the chicken hash and it was great. The other 2 days I just requested bacon and eggs. The bacon is scrumptious! One day we got back from sightseeing and I enjoyed lying on the couch reading a book in the main lodge. Terrance made me a wood burning fire. What more could you ask for? Wine? Yep. They have that too! We also enjoyed the fire pit outside that they started each evening for the guests. I highly recommend this inn.

This is such a beautiful place. You will not be disappointed. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Everything is thoughtfully designed and organised with the guest experience in mind.

We stayed in the annexe. Our room was large, filled with antiques, arm chairs and a fireplace, and our bathroom had a spa bath. There was a small patio and a view of the mountains.

The main lodge has a cosy lounge with a huge open fire. Tea, coffee and some soft drinks are complimentary. There is a bar too with a good choice of wines.

Outside there are real fires and lots of seating.

The owners are genuinely hospitable and took the time to chat to us and help us choose driving routes to make the most of the short time we had.

The area is stunningly beautiful. Our only regret is that we hadn't booked to stay longer.

This place is very special.

This was the perfect place for a country break. A gorgeous setting, fabulous location and utterly perfect service. The people were all friendly and accommodating, helping us with anything from a missing hairdryer to recommendations of hiking trails.

The accommodation is just lovely with cosy fireplaces and plenty of options for enjoying the outdoors. Exceptionally clean and well cared for. Loved the drinks etc available in the library/lounge and the bar in the evening was great.

The breakfast is a fabulous thing to behold! The chef and his team are outstanding and serve imaginative and plentiful servings that set you up for the day and encourage you to get some exercise!

If I have one suggestion for an improvement it would be to update the beds. Ours was a bit rickety and soft and the linen, blankets etc should be upgraded to duvets and generally a bit more 5 star....but in the scheme of things, this is a minor issue and would certainly not stop us returning very soon!

We were happily impressed by our visit. The room was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outdoors on the deck and in front of a roaring fire. The breakfast meals can only be described as outstanding! Each day a new coffee cake was presented at the table in a small cast iron skillet. You choose your meal from a menu where you can have eggs if you are so inclined or a fritata with salmon, asparagus, kale and goat cheese for example. The town of Tannersville is cute and within walking distance. Hunter Mountain is a few miles away. Would highly recommend this location for a relaxing respite.

Me and wife visiting Tannersville again. We came here last year when she was my girlfriend. She loved this place so much that we decided to make it our yearly tradition to visit this place. It was very nice of the owner to make sure that our stay was stress free and check-in was all set, even though we checked in late at night. Thank you for being very accommodating. Nice fire place and cool porch seating. It just refreshes your mind, body and soul. I highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for a perfect daycation or vacation.

Room tip: East lodge is separate from the lodge. it's quit with private porch.
