Old, dirty, over priced. I would not recommend staying here. The town of La Palma itself, is not worth an overnight. It would be enough to stop for one hour to see the painting. There are not really very many and the town is very small.

This is a super hotel. Friendly staff, lovely grounds with pine forest surrounding you. Decent size swimming pool. Great breakfast. Centrally located for the town. Very pretty. Great value.
La Palma style paintings.

It is very nice place with great atmosphere! Hotel has perfect location, swimming pool and restaurant with big terrase. Our room was beautifuly decorated, big and clean and staff was very friendly. Especialy the owner, Mr. Salvador, who took care of us from the beginning. We had a problem with withdrawing money and he invited us for a dinner and morning coffee and next day he took us in his car to San Salvador to solve our problem. We really appreciated this and stayed 2 more nights. La Palma is beautiful small town, from where you can visit Cerro del Pital which is great half day trip. I highly reccomend this place!!

A great place to spend a night or two, if you look for a bit of peace and quite. The price for a small room is fair (around 7.5$), and everything is green and peaceful around. Very nice place to stay on a hammock and recharge your batteries.
IMPORTANT - there is one ATM in the town and usually it is empty, so get money before you get here.

We stayed here one night, and for the price ($42 for a private room with bathroom, which is double what we normally pay, for accommodation that is better than this place). The sheets didn't fit the bed. The doors and windows are not mosquito-proofed. There are holes and tears in the bed linen. And we couldn't get wifi in our room. For the price, we consider this to be a pretty poor performance. The staff were fine, friendly. Coffee in the morning was not very good. There is a lot of simple, basic things they could improve that would greatly improve the hotel overall.
