so disappointing on Easter Sunday. Despite reservations there was a wait but not the problem. Once seated if it was for Elizabeth (not our waitress) we would never have gotten water, menus, or bread. Our waitress was continually scarce and we had to ask Elizabeth and our bus boy for assistance. The excuse was the restaurant was crowded but not in the dining room where we were seated. We even had a cracked glass and could not get anyone's attention to help. I use to love this restaurant but we are not going back. The food was excellent but it's hard to enjoy when your constantly trying to get someone's attention to assist.

We shared an avocado and shrimp salad appetizer. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass & I had a strip steak. Both entrees were excellent. Service is friendly and professional. We will be back.

This historical landmark on the main street of Warwick is a
charming location with a large front yard that adds to the ambience of this 19th century buiding. The changes to the interior decor make this restauarnt a delightful venue for intimate dining or a big family gathering. They have several rooms to meet the need of the diners and have live music on several evenings. The menu is varied and the kitchen is willing to make accommodations as requested for any special diet. In the warmer months, the outdoor porch and the patio make for an enjoyable place to dine..

Unfortunately, even though we had a reservation for 6, the owners decided to overbook the outside dining area knowing that their service staff in the kitchen and on the floor were overwhelmed and short staffed. As we had reserved our table inside, we assumed we would have resonable attention to our presence. This failed to be true! They catered to the outside guests, without a hint of sorrow to us waiting inside to be attended to . . . When our order for drinks and appetizers was finally collected, our apys arrived first, then after a 1/2 hour or more our drinks. After our dinner selections were collected, we waited another 2 hours! Our request for additional bread and water fell on deaf ears!! I finally went to the bar and asked for a pitcher of water . . . they scrounged for some ice!! We finally received our dinner selections, only to find out that one was burned (!) and one was not made!! (what?) We left disgusted after they offered us a bottle of wine for our lousy service !!! We told them we were not fully served, and they offered to send us home with the entree that was missing . . . are you kidding me???!!??? DO NOT GO HERE!! BAD JUDGEMENT ON RESERVATION CUSTOMERS!! Sad, but true . . . .

What a charming place! The perfect ending for an equally perfect Fall day. It reminds me of an elegant southern Victorian with a big wrap around porch, where on a warmer evening you could dine al fresco. The inside is warmly lit, very cozy atmosphere. The staff is very courteous, attentive, especially the owner, who was moving about the dining room and bar area pretty much all evening making sure all was going well for his customers. The food was very well done. Tuna carpaccio with arugula delicious, refreshing. One of The specials was a mushroom ravioli with sun dried tomato Gorgonzola cream sauce was so flavorful, out of this world! Grouper entree was excellent, perfectly cooked, moist. We all commented that the vegetable side, although just simple carrots and zucchini were a star...not sure what they did to them other than pan roast but we all cleaned our plates. We are hardcore foodies who regularly dine out in the big cities. Warwick Inn food was definitely on par with that of some of my favorites. Will definitely be back once the bed and breakfast rooms are available!
