It’s hard to know where to start with this review, there’s so much to say, and all of it positive. The hotel is just beautiful, gorgeous interiors, a mind blowing view as you arrive in reception, perfect rooms, gorgeous sandy beach and big pool with shallows perfect for kids. All the staff went above and beyond every single day to make our experience amazing. The relationship they built with our children blew us away, they could not have be kinder, more attentive and generous with their time. The food is incredible, the choice of restaurants and type of cuisine is huge and everything we ate was such good quality. And they couldn’t have made it easier for us to enjoy incredible food but still keep our kids happy. They’d make purées for the baby and kid friendly food for our four year old and bring it to wherever we were eating. The spa is beautiful, I had the best massage I’ve ever had there. Not to mention the gym, classes, kayaks, paddle boards, glass bottom boat tour etc etc. This hotel has absolutely nailed the balance of a luxury holiday for adults but fully child friendly. I cannot recommend it more highly.

My wife and I travelled here for our Honeymoon and it may have been one of the best experiences of our lives (so far). The hotel is beautiful and the pictures online don't do it justice. The idilic setting of Mauritius is something to behold but what really makes this place is the people who work there. I don't know how but they make each and every guest feel like royalty. From Avi working tirelessly on the beach bringing us cold drinks to Dickshah in Palm Court making us feel like we were being greeted by friends every morning. My wife is an amputee and there was a wee mix up with facilities when we arrived but Elena took charge and had things sorted within minutes and it was a joy to see her everyday and let her know how special she had made things for us. Big shout out to Ashwan, JC (Jean Christophe) and Yassar who made sure we were taken care of every night, at every restaurant. Our room was immaculately cleaned everyday by the amazing Suranash and his team and it was just so nice to come back from a long day on the beach to a beautiful room.

The food - oh my god the food. Inti is out of this world, but, every morsel you can eat at Lux is lovingly made, and you can taste that in every bite.

Everyone told us this would be a trip of a lifetime, but I really hope it isn't as I plan to return here many more times in my lifetime.
