Highly recommended! Charming, clean and quite B&B with a good taste in case of design. It is located close to the ferry (easy reachible by walk) as well to downtown Stonetown. Breakfast is perfect and the service staff is friendly and helpful in every situation. Many tx to Heike and: I will come back ...

We stayed twice at Kiponda B&B, once at the beginning of our tour of Zanzibar and once at the end. We felt very welcomed both times, Heike and the staff of Kiponda B&B are always available for questions and eager to help. The rooms were clean and lovely decorated. I personally loved the lemon soap - it’s the small details that count. The breakfast had a wide variety of cereals, bread, bread spread, eggs and fruits and was the best breakfast we had on Zanzibar. Kiponda B&B is well situated in the center of Stone Town within walking distance of all the tourist areas. We (two female) always felt safe walking the streets around Kiponda B&B, even at evening hours.
I can highly recommend staying at Kiponda B&B.

We were 3 friends pack travellers, ~30 years old, very good welcoming, good services (I loved the breakfasts) and advice/contacts to visit the island.

We had a triple room, very nice and comfortable with efficient fans to refresh.

Room Tip: If you want a low noise level, prefer the rooms not giving on the street below

It was nice having you. We had just added a second fan in the triple room you stayed in and are glad to hear that it was worthwhile.
Karibu tena. Welcome again.

Hi,

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful mosquito nets. Good breakfast. 5 minutes walk from the port. 5-10 minutes from Forodhani gardens. About 15 minutes to Africa House. All staff very polite and friendly and helped us with any queries.
Arranged transport to Nungwi at a very good price.
All very good!

We had a good experience during our stay at Kiponda, we found the staff very hospitable and especially Jimmy was really nice, did our laundry with such care, ironing it and folding it carefully! We only stayed two nights and spend most of the day doing things - the fisherman's harbour and the spicy tour were certainly worth visiting. We pick I think the basic room, a room with double bed and bathroom, everything worked well and there were no issues. But only they could get rid of the rooster who would sing early morning, my boyfriend had a dream that night that he is agreeing to end the rooster's life! :)

Thank you so much. We are glad you liked it.
The rooster was taken care of...but the roosters son is taking over now, we are afraid. :)
