I had a 3 hour lunch meeting with a vendor at this restaurant. The service and food were excellent. We never felt rushed to give up the table and the high back booths allowed us to feel private. I warned the waitress we’d use the table for several hours and I gave her a very generous tip. There were plenty of open tables on the day we visited so getting a table was not a problem.

Had dinner as a "random drive by." No reservations on a Saturday night, but no problem. The restaurant has ample seating. My daughter had a Caesar salad with chicken and chicken sliders. My wife had Salmon and I had the Ribeye. They were all very tasty. The dishes were well orchestrated as far as arrival to the table and the wait staff had their act fully together. Obviously there is strong management in the operations which results in a very attentive staff that makes themselves very available. Enjoy and take your son/daughter there when you visit the university. No one will be disappointed!

Met friends who were there to visit Elon University. Went on a Friday night and although reservations for small groups are not accepted, they saved us a table while we had drinks in the bar. Started with excellently done calamari served with 3 great sauces. Then all had a different salad and each were good. Then two had fish and the other two steaks. All meals were very good. Twice baked potatoes were excellent. The service was attentive without being overpowering and were very friendly. When you drive up, you would not think this is a really good restaurant, but don't be fooled. It's a great place for a meal.

We arrived jist be for our reservation at 715. We were told we had to wait for the people to get done thst were sitting at out reserved table. An hour later we still hadn't been set. The hostess said they were putting tables together at a different location. The manager came over and took a different party to that table. Finally we were sat in the bar area. The manager did come over and brought us 3 free appetizers to apologize for our wait. We had a waiter that was solo and he struggled the entire evening. Service was slow. We finally had our orders taken and waited for ever for salad plates. We had to ask several times for bread. Finally get salad and the dinner arrives. I ordered the Hatteras Grouper. It was delicious until I got to the thickest part of the fish and it wasn't cooked all the way. Another member of our party was served her ribeye and broccoli and it was not hot. They took her steak and warmed it and brought it back to her and it was over done at that point. We went to celebrate a birthday. I alerted the waiter of the birthday and he brought her dessert and the people at the end of the table but didn't ask the rest of us if we wanted anything. So we have him our orders and waited about 30 minutes for those. The worst part was thast because we had a party of 8 gratuity was included on our check. Our waiter certainly didn't deserve a 20% tip but that is what they automatically added. All in all definately not 584s best night.
