Great variety of yummy asian food from pad thai to sushi rolls. The chef will come out & talk to you as much as possible & is really into pleasing his customers. He even goes to cooking competitions & does well because of his very creative, flavorful dishes. This is our neighborhood favorite...so much so that we invited a bunch of friends there for a dinner to introduce them to a place nearby that they had not tried yet. It's very large & beautifully decorated, plus even has a patio for days when we feel like sitting outside! If you need a place for a group, a reception, or just couples dinner, this is always great.

Several colleagues and I stopped in for lunch and were quickly seated since the restaurant was not crowded. Between the four of us, we ordered two lunch bowl specials and two sushi plates. The sushi donut looked interesting but it's really just a sushi rolled curved around on a plate to form a circle. Our server seemed inexperienced and had trouble with the trays of food, otherwise she was pleasant, efficient, and able to accommodate one of our party's special food requests. The hot tea is one thing I judge Asian restaurants on and this place just gave you a mug of hot water with a teabag -- definitely on the cheaper end. Our food was good and portions were decent. I don't know if we caught them on a less crowded day, but all in all this was a good uncrowded lunch spot in Cary.

Eighty8 had been recommended to us, and we are so glad we went there for dinner. Located in a large inside space in a shopping center, the restaurant has a large bar, a space for live entertainment, and a large area for dining. We are very fond of Asian food, and were not disappointed here. We shared the "Sushi Donut" as an appetizer. We dine in many Asian restaurants, and I have worked in Asia for years--never have we had something like this. It was like a large, round piece of Sushi with multiple toppings and fillings. Very creative and just delicious. Big enough to share. Our main courses--shrimp Pad Thai and Crispy Fish--were flavorful, large portions. A special shout-out to our server, Juliana. She was delightful and very professional. We will return!

Beautiful decor and pleasant staff on top of the delicious food. Hands down they have the best sushi in the Triangle area! The Tuna Eighty8 appetizer and Hot and Sour soup are a must when you visit.

One of our favorites! My family and I frequent Eighty 8 on a regular basis. Their sushi is top notch. Always fresh and the chef is willing to make specials rolls by request. The Junk in the Trunk roll is to die for. I tried the bulgogi eggrolls last time I was there and they're delicious. The BEST seafood bisque I've EVER had. My husband ordered the filet on Valentine's Day and said it was great. Their Poke bowls are SO GOOD! Staff is attentive but not annoying, the atmosphere is fantastic. They offer several different events throughout the year and try to partner with local charities. Please consider giving them a chance. You will not be disappointed!!!
