This is the best Easter brunch in the Cary, Raleigh, Durham area. The food is amazing - charcuterie, gourmet soup and salad, grouper, beef tenderloin, crab Benedict, elaborate dessert display, and more. Make reservations early. Service is usually spot on, but this time it was a little off probably because of the busy holiday. We will be back though. And of course there is the lobby area with fresh floral arrangements and a perfect area for a family photo.

Beautifully presented, delicious food. A perfect compliment to a Spa Day at the Umstead Hotel & Spa. Light delicious fare or hearty - the steak was fabulous!

The food was absolutely amazing and beautiful! My brother, who is in school to become a chef, loved it as well!
Amazing presentation, servers were fantastic!
You would think that because the portions are smaller than your normal restaurant that you wouldnt be full by the time you finished, well we were stuffed!
I tried amazing food that i never would have if it wasn't served there, like foie gras, duck, and caviar!
Absolutely astounding meal! Definitely coming back!

After reading the reviews and hearing about this restaurant for many years, we went for a birthday lunch with another couple. We were rather disappointed. The food was mediocre and the service was less than stellar. We understand the chef who was so good has left this restaurant and that may be part of the food problem. However, there is no excuse for unfriendly and inadequate service. Our waitress could barely crack a smile and the people who brought the food out just put it on the table, did not ask if we cared for anything else, did not ask if we wanted more coffee, etc. All in all, we would expect beyond the normal service in a restaurant of this caliber. We ordered the shrimp small plate appetizer which was $15 for three tough, rubbery shrimp. The tiramisu dessert was so small, it was barely enough to share. $11 and we could’ve purchased a whole cake. The lunch was very expensive and definitely not worth it. Perhaps it was just an off day but we won’t be back to check it out again.
