If you want plenty to eat at a good price, try the Fuller's buffet. My wife and I joined her sister and nephew for lunch on their trip south. It's all you eat of Southern comfort foods -- plenty of meats, seafoods, veggies, salads and desserts. Menu service also is available.

Wide variety including collard greens, okra, BBQ, chitlins, fat back, and much more. Friendly staff, full of local guests, community feeling... worth the few mile drive off 95 for some local flair. Reasonable price. Memorable. Improvement would be ... warmer buffet items, but we were not there at a peak dining time.

We stumbled on this place a couple of years ago when we were on our way to Florida and liked it so much that when we found ourselves headed south again we planned our trip down AND back so that we'd be here for lunch. Nothing fancy, but their barbecue is awesome and their fried chicken is better than mine. Go hungry...really, really hungry.

When you go to Fuller's just make sure you are hungry! Best southern style veggies on the buffet. Seasoned well and cooked just right. Excellent Carolina barbecue, fried chicken, fish, livers & gizzards, and sausage. Reasonably priced and a great value. Passing through Lumberton? Make sure you take the Red Hill exit and you are there. You will not be disappointed. They also have terrific desserts and sweet tea! Every time we go up I-95, we have to stop at Fuller's!!

For $11 you get a good assortment of foods from salad bar to fried, baked and grilled chicken, ribs, potato salad, mac and cheese, mash potatoes, puled pork, fruits and dessert. Clean location and friendly staff.
