This place has pretty good hot dogs and a tasty selection of fried foods at a reasonable rate. The only downside is the appearance; I'm sure this is a very clean establishment but the outdated decor gives a grimy impression. Worth stopping in though.

Talk about iconic eateries, this old place (that area folks still call Jim's Tastee Freeze) is right out of the 1950s - and that's the way everybody likes it! Great hotdogs and sandwiches, great soft serve ice cream served in various ways --- and everything is made fresh, hot, and tasty. True, there are no frills - but this little place is wonderful.

This is your typical hot dog joint, open and relaxed. No frills or splashy signs, etc. the sitting area is just average, the type of place workers like to go at lunch for a good, quick meal. The food I had, hot dogs and fries, was good. No complaints at all. If you’re passing by and hungry, and don’t want to spend a lot of time and money, you’ll like this place.

I've loved Jim's since I was a little girl. Very little has changed and I'm so glad of that! My husband and oldest boy love he hotdogs, while my younger kids eat the chicken fries and I always eat a chicken filet. Don't forget to order tots and onion rings and have a banana split for dessert!

Burger joint with history! Locally owned and this family really shows their live for community by their support to the local shrines club. Desserts and shakes are great. Tea is the best and ice even better (it's the good kind).
