We enjoyed the incredible view and fine food with terrific service. Joanne and "the girls" did an outstanding job in making our visit memorable.

We stopped off here for breakfeast. A very warm welcome the moment we walked in the door! Our server " Stephanie " was very down to earth and treated us like she was an old friend! It was a pleasure to meet you Steph! The food was GREAT! The view was wonderful! They also have local handmade crafts and lotions for sale when you walk into the front part of the building. Hands down.... this is a great place to stop and feel like you are at home!

We stooped in this restaurant for breakfast, and boy did we get a lot more than we bargained for. A gift shop, a great view, the fire was crackling and the scenery was beautiful.
Our server, Bobby, attended to us quickly, and was very courteous. He kept our coffees topped up and brought out our breakfast out exactly as we ordered it.
They had small books on the tables for us to write in - cute idea.
Great value, and we'll defintely be back next time were passing through Maggie Valley.

We had the special of the night, blackened Prime rib! It was really good. Our other friends ate homemade meatloaf and grilled trout! Everyone raved about the food. Our waitress, Jennifer, was pleasant and very informative of the area. She directed us to see the Elk and visit the Wheels Through Time Museum. We did both, and what treats! The museum was awesome. The view at this place was great, can't find another restaurant like it. We at breakfast there the next day, and it was just as good!

While visiting with my family we stopped at the Mountaineer 5 out of 7 days we were in Maggie Valley. We ate breakfast 3 times and dinner twice, every meal the four of us got was cooked perfect and the food tasted great everytime. The view for a restaurant is one of a kind looking over the valley as we ate. Every waitress was very nice and interested in where we are from and what we have been doing while visiting magie valley, the waitresses made us feel at home. We rode up on our motorcycles and had many questions about what are good rides up there, the owner of the restaurant also rides a harley motorcycle her name was Joanne and she was awesome she was going to ride her motorcycle that day and asked if we would like to come with her, she took the four of us on some of her favorite places to ride in the mountains and was a very lovely lady. Visting this restaurant really made our trip, we will for sure be coming back to Maggie Valley to come visit this restaurant again and ride the mountains. I would highly recommend eating there and stopping in, you will feel like they are part of your own family.
