Average Hampton. Beginning to show some wear & tear but otherwise the hotel and its staff are solid. Thought the rate charged was rather excessive since I’ve paid comparable even sometimes less in many cities and larger towns. This from a high use Hilton Honors member.

All of the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and had lots of towels. The breakfast bar was one of the best parts about this today so many choices healthy choices I should say. Everyone gave lots of love to her little pet Dixie to thank you

Quiet location with beautiful scenery and access to many locations just east of Asheville. Perfectly kept and well maintained. If you have a little more time Mt. Mitchell is just a few miles away. Recommend

I have to give the Hampton Inn in Marion 5 stars. It's clean, the staff is very helpful, breakfast is warm and you have options, and the cleaning staff is very friendly. Just a great place to stay!!!!.

This particular Hampton Inn is the best of all the Hilton properties at which I have ever stayed. The staff is tight-knit and respectful not only of guests but also of each other. They seem truly happy to be there.

Even more importantly, it was all the little touches I noticed. The lobby area is cozy with a fireplace and comfortable place to sit, the dining area is another even nicer place to relax if needed. The fact that they put out little tea lights every day is just one small detail that matters and makes the overall experience even better. A small seating area on the second floor overlooking the main floor is another place to rest. A small gazebo out back even has a fountain that was clearly not a part of original plan for the hotel. It truly felt like a welcoming, family owned space. Little decorations are placed throughout that are clearly not a part of a regular Hilton Hotel, but those touches really meant something.

The rooms are clean, neat, orderly and the cleaning staff really seems to care, in addition to being wonderfully pleasant folks. The furniture is a little old and beaten up, probably from guests running their luggage into the corners, but even that is minor, and the manager mentioned there would be new furniture coming soon.

This is my second stay here mostly because my first stay was so excellent. There are less expensive options in the area, but to feel welcome, to have a place where one might want to even rest and enjoy the company of others outside of the standard rooms was a great find. Finally, the staff themselves are what make this a good value.
