I just returned from a week at this cabin and can verify it fully deserves its 5 star rating. The cabin is like a home away from home but with a beautiful view of the mountains and the Nottley river.Their are many things to do in close proximity including flea markets , a trail in town called the riverwalk, a must see theme park called Fields of the Wood (both free of charge)and is close to many outfitters that offer whitewater rafting and more in stunningly beautiful woods and waters.It is a perfect place to relax and take it all in but with so much to do you won't want to leave. Also being Pet friendly made my dog very happy

We enjoyed our stay here. A rare place that felt like home, comfortable and very relaxing! We called in some turkeys across the river, while drinking a cup of coffee, possibly disturbing the fisherman up the stream. It was so peaceful no matter the time of day. The hot tub was nice, from the rocking chairs on the balcony enjoying the peaceful nature of many types of birds and the sounds of the river flowing over the rocks, to the night time fire pit we enjoyed with s'mores and later with a colored fire before our nightly comfy beds for sleep. Surrounding area is growing, so there's plenty of places to eat, trails to walk and roads through the National forrest to view some great water falls. There is a couple of gem mines with in an hour, a local atv side by side rental trail, but we mostly enjoyed relaxing at the cabin. Loved this place and highly recommend staying here. The owners have a great place and are very nice!

The cabin was so comfy and the view was incredible. Nice big recliner sofa in front of a 65" TV and fireplace. Spent many hrs. in the rocking chairs on the back porch. So beautiful. Hot tub was great. Cabin has everything you need except for clothes and food. Town of Murphy is really nice. Just check first on what's open on what day.

2 reviews My husband and I stayed at this cabin with our 9 and 16 year old boys. It was very spacious for the 4 of us. Super clean and very inviting. We planned a week of pure laziness and it's exactly what we got. We had bad weather - another reason just to enjoy the cabin, hot tub, oversized couch and fireplace. And let's not forget about the view from the cabin over the pasture. We highly recommend this place.
