This was a visit for dinner and we enjoyed everything that we ordered. It was a Tuesday evening about 6 PM and it was not crowded. The biscuits were good as were the fried pimento cheese appetizers. I had the shrimp and grits which were spicy and hence tasty. My wife had the fried green tomato sandwich with the fried mac and cheese and she enjoyed these items as well.

Looked on TA for somewhere to eat and came across The Flying Biscuit. Tried it and loved it. The atmosphere, the ambience, the staff everything about it. Sorry about the photo of the empty plate but the good was that good so being a Brit, I wasn't going to share it.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this breakfast was! After ordering a Bacon Bloody Mary, which was very good, I was even more impressed by the food! Biscuits were warm, fluffy and tasty, and served with a side of fruit butter, while the goat cheese omelette with tomato coulee (a reduced, intensely flavorful tomato sauce) was delicious. We sat at the colorful, cozy bar, but other dining options include indoor table service or outdoor dining. Generally, The Flying Biscuit hits all the right notes as a comfy breakfast/lunch venue with tasty food and full bar. Service is stellar with friendly faces, and a quick kitchen - always appreciated! You won't be disappointed!

Had the best experience! Food and server Michael were both amazing! Grits were awesome! Lots of staff came over and loved on our dog Charlie, brought him a nice clean bowl of ice water which he loved! Even offered a biscuit :) ❤️will definitely be back!

The overall dining experience was better than average. The waitress was attentive and the overall service was acceptable.

The food was just ok. I had the Southern Eggs Benedict which uses the "Flying Biscuit" and two slices of Bacon instead of the traditional version of eggs Benedict. Again, the food was just ok.

A lot of good reviews about this place so I will be giving it another chance in the near future.
