Gorgeous on a sunny day, the photos wouldn't do it any justice. Brilliant for a bit of exercise and a pretty view.

I visit this attraction every time I visit Changsha. Why? because it holds lots of history and a place of calm. So much room and space. Never crowded even when busy. Lots of history to swot up on, lots of lovely walks and fresh air.
Climb the steps both ways that will give you plenty of exercise.
They have festivals and functions here so check them out and visit.
Ice cream is EXPENSIVE to buy! but on a hot day and on holiday who cares?

Definitely worth a visit. Take a picnic with you and en joy.

This park also called as Martyr's Park, located in the center of Changsha, you can reach it by subway, several buses. The middle Monument is the main attraction, best to see this park on nice sunny afternoon, when the temperature is not so hot.

Lieshi Park is the same Martyrs Park. The monument looks okay . It can be crowded by domestic visitors during the daytime. If living nearby , like in Sheraton Hotel . Its a good place to go for a morning jog.

I just love this place. I love the photo taking of the monument, the gardens, the trees and the exihibtion area. take it all in. Have a cuppa and something to eat. Ice cream is expensive.
people smiling and at ease and walking slowly. Do not hurry the visiting. I will go again and again and again . In fact I go several times each time I go to see my grandchildren as i take them to play.
